The purpose of this book is not to show or tell you how to take photos but to show you various ways of changing and improving an existing photo or image while showing the beauty and ruggedness of Arizona. This is done, in some cases, by showing an original image and then the same but modified image. The descriptions of what was done to the original image to modify it are brief and not intended to provide precise steps but to give you an idea of what can be done with a little time and effort, with good image-editing software, and with the many plug-ins available for some editing programs.
