Socialism’s WeaknessSocialism Destroys People’s WillSocialism is a creeping virus that slowly destroys the will of its people to be independent. It may not be intentional but socialism aims to solve its people’s problems by equalizing economic conditions and by creating a two-class society: the rulers and the ruled, the ins and the outs. Socialism steadily deprives its people of the will to do for themselves. Socialism fosters dependency and the expectation that someone will take care of them. Socialism weakens the will by attempting to ensure all its people receive equal compensation for unequal efforts. Why should one person strive to get ahead when his or her efforts are not rewarded any more than someone who does nothing? Why try to excel when your excellence is only recognized if you are a high-ranking party member? By creating dependency, socialism gradually encourages its people to depend on others for their welfare. Socialism encourages its people to shun and to distrust independent people. It is for this reason that socialistic societies dislike, distrust, and even hate independent people and countries not yet converted. Socialism develops a kind of isolationism in its people but an expansionist desire in its rulers. Socialism’s isolationism stems from its people not being willing to tackle problems that do not directly affect them. They are unwilling to deal with things themselves because they have become used to waiting for someone else to deal with the situation. This reluctance to deal with a situation is a direct result of being cared for my their government. If their government doesn’t see a problem then a problem must not exist. Since socialism harms its people by stifling their initiative, why is it so readily accepted by people who should know better? The answer lies in the ability of socialism’s proponents to rebrand it as liberalism. Liberals use terms like economic redistribution, affirmative action, U.N. cooperation, multilateralism, and many other inoffensive and carefully crafted terms. Liberals know that most Americans don’t want socialism so they use terms that sound grandiose and people serving. As an example, most people don’t really object to welfare; however, the purpose of welfare, like so many other liberal creations, is not to help people become self-sufficient and independent but rather to make them dependent on that system. The welfare system should teach people to help themselves but there isn’t any political advantage in that. Like many liberal ideas, the ideas are good but the implementations are incorrect and politically self-serving. Not all liberals intentionally try to create dependency but as politicians are wont to do, they prefer a voting block that owes their existence and, therefore, their allegiance to their party. Conservatives do the same thing but they do avoid socialism. Socialism is the extreme of liberalism but just as socialism weakens its people so does liberalism. Liberals wish to appease the world by seeking the world’s blessing for their actions even if those action are to preserve their country. Liberals don’t seen to understand that most of the world hates the U.S. and wishes to destroy us simply out of envy and fear of our success. Too many liberals try to place the blame on us and on our government’s policies rather than on the people whose stated goal is to destroy us. Ultra-liberals believe we have only to show these people how nice we are and they will cease their attempts to destroy us. Most liberals aren’t un-American or even hate our democratic form of government; although, some ultra-left liberals do wish to destroy this form of government. It is extremely interesting that some of the wealthiest people are ultra-liberals and only support ultra-liberal causes. Very few every run for any office. These people owe their wealth to this country and its freedoms yet these very same people want to destroy that government and the freedoms it offers. Are these type people so dissatisfied with themselves they feel it necessary to denigrate the system that dared allowed them to become famous and wealth? Could it be they dislike their success and themselves so much they can only justify their existence by telling the world how terrible this country is? Disagreement isn’t wrong but one should offer an alternative that indicates some knowledge of the real world. Ultra-liberals find it difficult to accept that some people hate us just because they can and their reasons are only a facade. Some people are destructive simple because they can be and because they want to be.
