Fruth Christmas 2002
I awoke this morning with a shudder
Opened my eyes and viewed all the clutter
I jumped from my bed in such a hurry
And to the calendar I quickly scurry
It's true! Christmas is almost here
Greetings must he sent to those far and near
But what to say - I scratch my head and ponder
Oh' this is news - we've moved from up yonder
From the cool tall ponderosa of Payson
To the tall towering cacti of Mesa
If you did not receive a card last year
Things were stacked in boxes and would not appear
Life is great in this desert sand
The sun shines brightly on our land
Darel enjoys working out at the gym
Bicycling and weights will keep him fit and trim
Gerrie works out at W-M - but less
Can't let Darel have all the fun and rest
Tim, Tom, Todd, Krista and Kathryn, children all
With spouses and off-spring will answer the call
Over the highways, separated by many miles
To Grandma and Grandpa's house we'll gather with smiles
And though we cannot be with you
Our thoughts and love will be there too
May the Star of Bethlehem shine bright
Guiding you safely by His holy light!
Merry Christmas,
Gerrie Fruth
