Cycles Of Life
Spring, a time of rebirth
The start of new growth.
Seeds sprout from Mother Earth
Renewed by a new life’s oath.
Summer, a time of growth
Ideas turn to substance
And become solid thought.
Each a step in a new dance.
Fall, a time of deserved rest
A time to look, to behold.
And recover from summer’s zest
Before Winter takes its toll.
Winter, a time of death
So the cycle can repeat.
Earth prepares for the gift
Of life in simmering heat.
And so each cycle reminds
That Nature and life interact.
Cycles differ only in times
Life to death and then back.
As life like time is eternal
So cycles prepare the soul.
Each cycle is but a kernel
That completes the whole.
