GODDESS
I know you are there even when I’m unaware.
I feel your unselfish love radiating within and above.
I feel your contentment, love, peace, and fulfillment.
You are the song of my soul as you unfold my life’s role.
Each day offers a lovely surprise as Goddess smiles in each sunrise.
She showers Her love till sunset and lights my path till moonset.
When I think it will end she starts all over again.
Her judgment I no longer fear after I cross over to there,
For She will forgive all I have done even if I have failed or left undone
Things I should have learned or opportunities left unturned.
No, Goddess will forgive if my best I did not give.
Its my judgment that worries me did I give my all, that’s the key.
For She will only ask, "Did you try your best?"
Now I must assess myself only my judgment, no one else.
Can I be as kind to me as She or will I unforgiving be?
Though intent matters some results of what I’ve done
Will be there for all to see, it will all be left up to me.
No, Goddess I do not fear, its me to this I swear.
That’s why I try each day to be, to do, and to say
The best that I know how. Its my responsibility now.
